It's hard to believe I joined Malo all the way back in 1984. I've been in the band ever since, playing such perennial crowd favorites as Suavecito, Nena and Cafe, in addition to a variety of other exciting Latin Rock tunes. Malo truly was and is one of the pioneers of the Latin Rock sound, and has endured for decades while many a band has fallen by the wayside. Here are a couple of my contributions to the Malo repertoire. We often open our shows with Techno Rumba, which came from an acoustic number I penned called "San Remo," featured on the Guitarras Y Congas CD "Chiles."
